Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
NBit – Nagl Business IT
Pierre Nagl-Weichselbaum
Hinterer Berg 14, 92360 Mühlhausen, Germany
Mobile: +49 151 4000 2940
Email: info@nbit.center
2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services, or where you have given your consent. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a), (b) and (f) GDPR.
3. Your rights
You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time, informally by email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
4. Hosting and server log files
Our website is hosted on servers in Germany. When the site is accessed, the server automatically collects so-called server log files (browser type, operating system, referrer URL, IP address and the time of the request). This data is used for the technical provision, security and stability of the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and is deleted after a short period.
5. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in the address bar.
6. Contact form and enquiries
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone, company, subject, message) in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). To prevent misuse and spam, we technically store the IP address and the browser (user agent) of the submission. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required, at the latest once any statutory retention obligations no longer apply.
7. Spam protection (captcha)
To protect our forms against automated misuse, we use — only in suspicious cases — a local security check (ALTCHA). It solves a small computational task directly in your browser and works without cookies, without tracking and without transmission to third parties. No additional personal data is collected in the process (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
8. AI assistant “Bitty”
We offer an AI chat assistant (“Bitty”) on our website. Your chat input is transmitted to and processed by our processor Anthropic (Anthropic PBC, USA) in order to generate a response. For security, to prevent misuse and to handle your request, we store the conversation history and technical data (IP address) for a limited time. If you request contact via the chat, the data you provide (e.g. name, email, phone) is transmitted to us together with the conversation history in order to process your request. Please do not enter any sensitive personal data in the chat. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (provision of a helpful service); use of the chat is voluntary.
9. Cookies and local storage
We use only technically necessary cookies that are required to operate the website — in particular for session management and protection against CSRF attacks. In addition, we store your display preferences (e.g. language and theme selection) locally in your browser (localStorage). These do not require consent (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We do not use any tracking or marketing cookies.
10. Fonts and content
Fonts are loaded locally from our own server; no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) is established in the process. We do not embed any external tracking services or advertising networks on the marketing pages.
11. Objection to promotional emails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published in the context of the legal notice obligation for sending unsolicited advertising.
12. Changes to this privacy policy
We will adapt this privacy policy as soon as changes to our data processing make this necessary. The current version published here applies.
